Report on NFPA State Affiliates (President's Meeting)
The NFPA Meeting held on November 5-6, 2009 was attended by Kimberly Hernandez, Acting President in Orlando, Florida.
There were 22 states represented at this meeting.
The Products and Services committee gave a report on a clothing exchange program that is being developed.
The Training Committee gave a report on the DVD; Lost and Found Families that is being used by NFPA.
The Finance Committee gave report and discussed the recent audit and new procedures that must be followed.
A new Policy and Procedures manual for the board needs to be reviewed, updated and approved.
Membership Committee report on current membership drive incentives.
NFPA has decreased the staff to 2 that work 2/3, not full time.
The 2010 NFPA Annual Conference will be held in Maryland on May 28-June 2, 2010.
